WELCOME TO PHYSICAL MEDICINE & REHABILITATION DEPARTMENT


Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) focuses on enhancing and restoring functional ability and quality of life to those with physical impairments or disabilities. The PMR Department at NRS Medical College, Kolkata, offers comprehensive services, including outpatient care, a dedicated pain clinic, and inpatient rehabilitation. It provides physiotherapy and occupational therapy services, along with a regional artificial limb center. Interventional pain and palliative care services are also available. The department began its postgraduate course in PMR with three seats in 2023, and it continues to offer a diploma in physiotherapy.
