WELCOME TO RADIO DIAGNOSIS DEPARTMENT

WELCOME TO NRSMCH RADIOLOGY DEPARTMENT

The Department of Radio diagnosis, NRSMCH, is one of the best department of the hospital and it plays a pivotal role for the diagnosis and radiological interventions for patient care services. The department has been introduced since the establishment of hospital. Our department is  well equipped state of art  instruments . Almost all  modern radio-logical facilities are available in our department . The staff and technicians of the department are well trained and co-operative and the department is engaged to serve the patients round the clock. The concept and formation of IRIA is initiated and materialized from the  Department of Radio-diagnosis, NRSMCH. We, the Doctors , Technicians are proud of our department and strive for its betterment.

PATIENT CARE SERVICES

  • Round The Clock patient care services including X-RAYS, CONTRAST STUDY AND SPECIAL INVESTIGATIONS AND  ULTRASONOGRAPHY,
  • MAMMOGRAPHY, CT AND MRI , DSA done on regular basis.

Precision PM&R - Ultrasound of inflammatory arthritis and USG guided motor nerve block.

Coiling of rupture Basilar Top Aneurysm

  • A non HTN, non DM, 40 yrs male pt with sudden onset headache admitted to neurosurgery dept with suspected SAH. NCCT reveals the same. CT angiography reveals basilar top aneurysm measuring 8.5mmx 5.5mmx 3mm.
  • Pt has a similar episode in February and admitted to a private hospital, ct angiogram revealed a basilar top aneurysm of 4.5mmx 3.5mmx 2.2mm, pt was asked for coiling however due to financial problems ( budget approximately 8 to 10 lakhs) manage conservatively.
  • After discussing with interventional radiologist Dr Jyotish Roy and neurosurgeon Dr Partha Sarathi Dutta pt was plan for endovascular coiling.
  • Endovascular coiling done on 13/04/2024 with 3 microcoils under conscious sedation through rt femoral artery. Procedure was uneventful. Vital was stable
