Community Engagement and Awareness:

Beyond clinical and academic pursuits, the department plays a pivotal role in community outreach. Annually observing World Kidney Day and World Organ Donation Day, it raises awareness about renal health and encourages organ donation. These initiatives not only educate the public but also reinforce the department's commitment to holistic patient care.

Academic Initiatives:

The department serves as a hub for academic excellence, conducting Doctorate of Medicine (DM) and Diplomate of National Board (DNB) examinations in nephrology. Academic seminars and conferences are regular features, providing a platform for knowledge exchange and professional development among peers and students alike.
